BRIANNA COLEMAN

Brianna C. Coleman another 4th generation Californian, born in Santa Monica, raised in Malibu, Brianna is Britlyns younger sister. Brianna has been tagging along with her big sister for years, surfing up and down the 27 miles of Malibu coastline. Briannas surfing started later, but she is catching up quickly. She had a shark phobia which she has obviously outgrown. She frequents 1st point, dropping in on big waves and impressing her peers. She has been competing for two years making it to the podium time and time again. This year she was titled 1st Place Womens Longboard for the ISF 2005-2006 season. Like her big sis she too looks up to her Great Grandma whom surfed Malibu 1st point back in 1937. She shares the love of the ocean and her Great Grandmas favorite surf spots, including Malibu, Rincon and San Onofre. Her father, Hollywood stuntman Clarke C.Coleman, another big influence on her surfing and music talents. Brianna is also an actress, she has starred in over 7 musicals, couple of movies and half a dozen television shows. Her three loves are surfing, music and acting in that order.

BRITLYN COLEMAN

4th generation Californian, born in Santa Monica, raised in Malibu, Britlyn C. Coleman is from a long time surfing family, she is fourth generation to surf Malibu 1st. Her Great Grandma being the first, surfing Malibu 1st point back in 1937, with the Santa Monica Paddle Club. Besides her Great-Grandmother, Britlyn's biggest surfing influence is her father, Hollywood stuntman Clarke C.Coleman, he started her out at Point Dume at the age of three. She now surfs up and down the coasts of California, Hawaii, and Mexico. Britlyn loves the ocean and has been competing on the Malibu High Surf team for four years with more than impressive results, advancing to the State Finals every year. This 2005-2006 season she finished forth overall and her Malibu High Surf Team placed 1st in Women's longboard and 2nd in Women's shortboard. Currently a prospective Malibu Surfing Association member, she is also competing in coalition contests and traveling the world to surf. Malibu 1st point will always remain her favorite break. She was introduced to Scott Anderson's boards in August 2005 and fell in love with them.

CHAD MARSHALL

Trace and Chad are MODERN LOVERS from the same mother,I introduce to you THE BROTHERS MARSHALL. They whole-hardly embrace their roots as Valley kooks.Originally from Agoura Hills CA, they currently live nowhere and everywhere..... Little brother DJ is their inpirado, a boy wonder known to sleigh all the hottest bitches!!! His elder Bros, do all they CAN to keep ahead as DEREK JAMES sets the pace. None of the boys drive safe, they've all had their licenses taken away so if you see them in the lineup offer them a ride and they may let you hang for a few and share the 12 pack of Tecate bought by you. Their surfboard (The Brothers Marshall Model) by Scott Anderson is long, like 9'8''and made to ride Surfrider Malibu. A 40/60 rail square tail with most of the volume curving up from the bottom for bite and grab, plenty of belly and a big ass wide nose for snorting long nose rides, set it and shred it...

Joel Salerno is a completely insane goofy footer from St. Augustine Florida. He is arguably the best young up and coming Longboard rider on the East Coast. He was given a full page shot in Surf Magazine last year
(not bad for a Longboarder).

SKIP ENGBLOM

Skip Engblom was one of the co-founders of the Jeff Ho Surfboards and Zephyr Productions Surf Shop in Santa Monica, California. He also was the owner of the Zephyr skate team, he currently owns and runs Santa Monica Airlines, a skateboard company.
Engblom helped to create the Zephyr Surf Team and the Zephyr Competition Team, aka Zephyr Skate Team aka Z-Boys. Skip was never a remarkable skateboarder himself but was a big influence to the Zephyr team.
Engblom sponsored the Z-Boys (the Zephyr skate team) including Jay Adams, Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta. Engblom was the reason that the boys started competitively. Engblom and the The Z-Boys frequented a locals only surf spot named "The Cove," which was located at Pacific Ocean Park, in Santa Monica, California, which later burned to the ground. Skip Engblom also played a cameo part in Lords of Dogtown as a race starter.
